Karen is a principal engineer chartered in both geotechnical Engineering with EA and environmental with EIANZ. She has over 20 years of experience in geotechnical investigation and design, and preliminary and detailed site contamination investigation.

 Overview 

Karen is a geo-environmantl engineer withover 25 years experience within the resource, civil and industrial sectors. She has a combination of qualifications in civil engineering, environmental management, geotechnical engineering, and business administration and has certifications in Six Sigma, Project Management (UK) and TAPROOT incident investigation – 

She has a strong background in geotechnical investigation, analysis, design, and construction support as ell as environmental (contamination and acid slufate soil) investigations and assessments. She has provided services in both the public and private sectors.

XAVIER JOYCE
XAVIER JOYCEGEO-ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER
Xavier is a civil engineer, he has worked as an undergraduate from 2018. He has more than four years experience (two part time) in the Geo-environmental sector.
He has skills in geotechnical and environmental site investigation which includes soil, rock and road pavement profile logging, soil and groundwater sampling and reporting.

Sophie Borgas

Sophie has Bachelor of Environmental Engineering from UOW.  She commenced work with Terra as an undergraduate in late 2020.  She assisted with PSI, DSI and waste classifications. Post graduation in 2022, she relocated to Sydney and is now working at the Sustainability and Climate Change Risk Advisory where we expert her to have a great future.

Hayley Taylor

Hayley is an accomplished engineering geologist.  She worked with Terra from Aug 2018 to mid 2020.  She relocated back home to New Zealand in 2020 and is now working with WSP as a team lead doing great works in the transportation sector.

Liam Elrington

Worked for Terra as an undergraduate from June 2017.  He became full time on completion of his degree in 2018.  He moved to Sydney to work in project management in late 2018.

Bryan hall

Bryan worked for 3 months for us in late 2019 and then returned to work for us in late 2020.  He stayed through to mid april 2022 and then relocated back to Perth.  During this time he took a roughly 3 month break.  He assisted the team with data entry, site investigations and factual reporting.

Jordan Blyton

Jordan commenced with Terra in 2022 as a geotechnical engineer. He is capable of undertaking field investigations including site classifications, pavement investigations and stormwater assessments.
